After much persistent chasing, we have had a concrete response from Bouygues having been chasing them for the last couple of weeks!
With regard to UoL TUPE’d staff, they say:
For your information, I have recently received details of the increases awarded at the University and am reviewing the increases due to the employees with the intention of making these payments in November with pay backdated to 1 August, the effective date of the award.
The increase for UoL staff was 1.1% – which is hardly great, but at least the principle of the link to University pay is maintained.
With regard to other maintenance staff, Bouygues are claiming that they have already had a pay rise this year. The IWGB is in the process of clarifying this, and will revert to the company as soon as we have gathered sufficient hard evidence!
